Gatchaman revisited
I have been away, but I haven't been resting on my laurels. I have been working on the set of an independent horror film for a month. If you would like to see my work on the project please visit my other blog welcometothedarkslide.blogspot.com or my website welcometothedarkslide.co.uk
Now I am back I have revisited one of my screen prints and made a small painting of it.
Painted using a mixture of system 3 acrylics and chromacolour animation paints.
If you would like to see the work in progress please visit my flickr page

Badger Press Summer Open Studio
Saturday just gone was the open studio day at Badger Press. Everyone had a great day despite the disappointing turn out, jaffa cakes and moustache cakes were eaten, some screen printing was done and lots of tea was drunk. So for those of you who couldn't make it here are some photographs.
Hope to see you at the next one!

A selection of work by artists who use the press was on sale

The new addition to the press - A Risograph printer with
black and blue inks. More colours coming soon.
If you have never heard of a Risograph it works similar to a photocopier,
but uses ink. Prints amazingly quickly and is perfect for edition runs.
Screen printing underway

Screen Printing Days
I have been teaching screen printing classes at Badger Press in Bishops Waltham over the last few months. Now, due to popular demand three extra days have been added.
If you would like more info please follow the link through to the Badger Press website .
The classes have been great fun and I have met a lot of like minded people and in turn they have all had a great day and made new friends.
The classes cost £40 and are limited to 6 people. I cater for all ability ranges, so it doesn't matter what level you are at.
Hope to see you there
